Pharmacist - Willits, California

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract An outpatient pharmacist position is available in a hospital-affiliated retail pharmacy setting located in Willits, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care by dispensing medications and counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter products.

Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and verify prescriptions. Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians. Counsel patients regarding proper medication usage, side effects, and interactions. Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Utilize Cerner electronic health records for documentation and prescription management.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Valid California Pharmacist license required. Previous retail or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare teams.

Schedule:

Primarily day shifts.
