Immediate Key Responsibilities:

Accurately dispense medications while adhering to pharmacy protocols and safety standards Provide compassionate, patient-centered service to individuals often managing advanced chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, multiple sclerosis, and rheumatoid arthritis Effectively communicate with patients who may have low literacy, ensuring understanding of medication instructions and adherence Assist pharmacists with inventory management and daily operational activities in a specialty retail pharmacy setting

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Prior experience as a retail pharmacy technician preferred; specialty retail pharmacy experience is highly desirable Knowledge of the top 200-400 commonly prescribed medications in retail pharmacy Comfortable working with Medicare/Medicaid and low-income patient populations Excellent patience and communication skills, especially when interacting with patients facing chronic health challenges Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license required PTCB certification highly preferred but not mandatory This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive environment dedicated to complex patient care.
