This contract opportunity offers a chance to contribute to patient care through efficient medication handling and preparation within an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision Manage inventory and restock medication supplies Assist with IV admixture preparation (for candidates with IV certification) Handle chemotherapy agents safely following protocols (for candidates with chemo experience) Maintain documentation of controlled substances and pharmacy records Provide outstanding support to pharmacy staff and healthcare teams Adhere to all safety and regulatory standards in medication handling

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 8:00 pm Rotating weekends every third weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Desired Experience /

Qualifications:

Certified Pharmacy Technician with valid state certification IV certification preferred for specialized roles Prior experience with chemotherapy preparation highly valued Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work a flexible rotating weekend schedule
