Location:

Blue Springs, MO (4400 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111)

Schedule:

Approximately 32 hours per week Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 8:00am-3:00pm and 10:00am-5:30pm

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting patients in person and over the phone, addressing questions, and resolving medication or insurance concerns Accurately process prescriptions through data entry, insurance billing, and labeling in a fast-paced retail setting averaging 150 prescriptions per day Support non-sterile compounding activities, with training provided, preparing medications following established procedures and safety standards Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure timely dispensing Manage inventory by stocking medications and organizing pharmacy supplies to maintain proper storage conditions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy technician experience required; experience limited to closed-door or hospital settings is not suitable for this role due to high patient interaction PTCB certification is advantageous but not mandatory Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a determined work ethic This is a 13+ week contract with the potential to become a permanent position.
