$18.50/hourPosition OverviewWe are currently seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team in Glen Burnie, MD. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient pharmacy environment while supporting daily pharmacy operations and ensuring excellent service for both staff and customers.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and inventory control within the pharmacy.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize pharmacy floor areas, including aisles, counters, shelves, and equipment, following established cleaning procedures and safety standards.
  • Monitor and replenish pharmacy supplies, including medications, packaging materials, and other ancillary items, to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Assist pharmacy staff with receiving, unpacking, and stocking incoming inventory shipments while verifying order accuracy and completeness.
  • Properly dispose of expired or damaged medications and hazardous waste materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines and pharmacy policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks to ensure the pharmacy remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to requests from pharmacy staff and customers, providing courteous and helpful support.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the safe handling and storage of hazardous materials and cleaning chemicals.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy team members to support smooth workflow and efficient daily operations. Qualifications
  • Previous pharmacy, retail, or healthcare experience. License required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift supplies as needed throughout the shift.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare setting.
