Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations and assist licensed pharmacists in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment ensuring accurate medication preparation, inventory management, and compliance with pharmacy regulations while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Medication Dispensing Prepare and label prescription medications for dispensing Measure, count, and package medications according to prescription orders Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells Open and handle large quantities of medication bottles and cases Ensure medication containers include proper labels and instructions for patient use Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dispensing area Inventory Management Assist with medication inventory control and stock management Perform regular stock rotation to prevent expired medications Compliance & Documentation Follow all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality Assist with documentation and record keeping related to prescriptions and medications Required Qualifications Candidates must have one of the following credentials : Indiana Pharmacy Technician License , OR Indiana Technician-in-Training License , OR National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Additional requirements: High School Diploma or GED Previous pharmacy experience Basic math, reading, and writing skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 20-30 lbs for short distances and 15 lbs for extended periods Ability to select and retrieve items from shelves for order fulfillment Must be able to stand and walk for the entire shift Work Environment Fast-paced pharmacy or fulfillment environment focused on accuracy, safety, and customer service.
