Pharmacy Technician

About the Role To Apply for this Job Click Here Primary Duties and Responsibilities Adheres to all state and federal pharmacy regulations. Supports the preparation, packaging, and coordination of patient medication deliveries under pharmacist supervision. Manages shipment documentation and monitors delivery timelines to maintain uninterrupted patient care. Conducts follow-up communication with patients or caregivers to confirm delivery and satisfaction. Inputs accurate prescription and patient data into pharmacy software and record systems. Keeps required continuing education up to date per state guidelines. Participates in regular inventory counts and documentation for medications and supplies. Assists with collection and verification of billing and insurance documentation. Maintains compliance with company operational policies and quality standards. Performs additional duties or special projects as needed. Qualifications Completion of a high school education or equivalent. Holds an active, unrestricted state pharmacy technician license. Must obtain national certification (CPhT) within one year of hire. Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Prior experience in a home infusion or specialty pharmacy environment is highly desirable.
