Pharmacy Technician (Casual) - Heritage Valley Beaver

Inpatient Pharmacy Work Hours:

Casual. Commitment to at least 2 shifts monthly. As part of the patient care team, the pharmacy technician provides assistance to the pharmacist. This position requires a commitment to continually support pharmacy services in order to provide quality care and efficient operations while considering fiscal responsibility. We offer flexible scheduling, with a preference for candidates available on weekends. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, team-focused, and committed to patient safety in a fast-paced environment. Currently enrolled pharmacist students are encouraged to apply.

Required:

High School graduate or equivalent. A commensurate combination of education/experience will be considered. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred:

(in addition to required qualifications above): Graduate of a certified Pharmacy Technician's training program Three months experience in either a Retail or Hospital Pharmacy Setting as a Pharmacy Technician.
