• Job Summary and Qualifications
• Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, the Pharmacy
• Technician
• performs functions related to pharmaceutical preparation and distribution.
• Here is some of what you can expect from being a Pharmacy Technician with us:
• + •You•will do•non-sterile compounding, stocking automated dispensing cabinets, unit dose drug preparation, delivering medications to patient care areas, checking medication storage areas for outdates, billing, and other duties as assigned.
• Qualifications you will need for this role:
• + •Certified Pharmacy Technician (•CPhT•or national equivalent) with Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Pharmacy Technician Certificate, or Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate•+ •If initially hired with a Colorado Board of Pharmacy (DORA) issued Provisional Pharmacy Technician Certificate, you must achieve a Certified Pharmacy Technician (•CPhT•or national equivalent) within 12 months of hire•.
• + •High school diploma or equivalent•+ •Previous•pharmacy technician experience preferred•+ •The ability to work accurately and with attention to detail•.
• + •Possesses communication, teamwork, customer service, computer, problem-solving, and organizational skills•.
