Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire A pharmacy technician role is available in an inpatient hospital setting located in Norwalk, OH. This position offers a 7 on, 7 off schedule working the night shift from 9 PM to 7 AM, typically Thursday through Thursday. This 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity allows for direct hire consideration upon successful completion of the assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the pharmacy team by accurately performing order entry using Meditech technology. Manage medication dispensing and inventory through Pyxis automation systems. Prepare sterile compounds adhering to rigorous safety and quality standards. Assist in maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols in a hospital environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician License. National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician. Previous inpatient pharmacy experience, with demonstrated knowledge of hospital pharmacy workflows. Experience with sterile compounding practices. Proficiency in Pyxis automation systems.
Schedule:
7 days on, 7 days off.
