PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - RETAIL

Job Description:

Under the supervision of a Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician performs accurate and timely preparation and distribution of pharmaceutical products. Duties include but are not limited to: Medication filling. Direct customer contact - answering phones, operating the register. Working directly with healthcare providers. Inventory management and prescription entry. Insurance processing. Experience/Qualifications •Willing to train! Knowledge of organizational and project management practices is normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Customer service skills and experience are beneficial. Experience in a health-related field, pharmacy, and computers beneficial. National Pharmacy Technician Certification is beneficial.
