Work Setting:
Hospital/Retail Pharmacy Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy/Retail Supervisor to oversee daily operations, supervise pharmacy technicians, and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for candidates with hospital pharmacy experience who are local to the area and open to transitioning into a permanent position.
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school (PharmD preferred).
Residency:
PGY1 residency preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years pharmacist experience, with at least 2 years in hospital practice. Supervisory experience over technicians required.
Certification:
BLS certification (within 30 days of hire).
Licensure:
Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license
Additional:
Must successfully pass background check and drug screening. Essential Functions Direct, manage, and supervise daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service delivery. Develop operational and financial outcome measures, tracking systems, and integrate efforts into organization-wide quality improvement. Implement and evaluate departmental policies and procedures. Lead continuous process improvement initiatives. Supervise and develop staff through feedback, HR tools, and professional growth opportunities. Oversee computer-based dispensing systems for efficiency and accuracy. Manage purchasing and inventory to ensure cost-effective availability of pharmaceuticals. Facilitate staff education and professional development. Prepare monthly operational reports with recommendations for improvement. Participate in orientation, training, and quality assurance programs. Engage in hospital educational programs to maintain competency. Perform other duties as assigned.

$3,500.00 per week
