Photo Production Specialist & Shop Assistant (1099 Contractor) We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our fast-paced online store team in River Edge, NJ. This role is a perfect hybrid for a Photo Editor/Cropper and a Digital Production Artist who enjoys a mix of technical prep and hands-on production. It is ideal for someone with excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a small-team environment. The ideal candidate takes ownership of their schedule, is consistently punctual, and can handle high-volume digital preparation with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Prep:

  High-volume cropping of images, performing minor design tweaks, and preparing RIP files for production.

• Customer Coordination:

  Sending digital proofs to customers and handling minor edit requests professionally.

• Workflow Management:

  Managing order timeframes and personal schedules to ensure all daily deadlines are met.

Shop Maintenance:

Ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient workspace at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience using a drawing tablet (Wacom, Huion, etc.) for precise cropping and masking is highly preferred.
• Experience with high-volume, precision editing (cropping and resizing).
• Strong hand-eye coordination for manual tasks and fine motor skills.
• Exceptional reliability and punctuality; ability to manage time effectively without supervision.
• Ability to follow detailed order instructions accurately.
