To Be Determined Job Description South Ripley Elementary is accepting applications for a Physical Education Coordinator position, effective for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a 7 hour day, 185 day noncertified position and will follow the school year calendar. The Physical Education Coordinator is responsible for organizing innovative games and challenges that promote physical activity among all students at SRES in grades PK-6 to develop motor skills, physical development, proper exercise, and eating habits among students. The Physical Education Coordinator must be knowledgeable about healthy life practices and use every day relevant situations to teach these practices, as well as be flexible in engaging as an instructor for students from multiple grade levels. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in an education setting, along with creativity, resourcefulness, enthusiasm for teaching and learning, be organized, with strong classroom systems and management skills. Compensation will be a daily rate in accordance with the non-certified pay scale. This is a PERF-covered position and eligible for the non-certified benefits package.
