Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Advance your physical therapy career in an engaging hospital environment, supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Key Qualifications:
Current state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) Experience in a hospital setting providing therapy services Strong assessment skills for adult and geriatric populations Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to maintaining a professional image and upholding Service Excellence Standards Ability to foster a caring and respectful environment for patients, families, and visitors
Schedule:
Contract position; specific hours and duration will be discussed during the interview process
Primary Responsibilities:
Assessing patient needs based on history, observations, physical examinations, and diagnostic analysis Designing individualized therapy plans to address holistic, age-specific needs Delivering appropriate therapeutic interventions in coordination with physician-directed care plans Utilizing service excellence standards during hourly patient rounds Ensuring the use of proper health and safety equipment for patient and staff protection Applying standard work practices for managing patient equipment and ensuring safety for at-risk individuals Contributing to departmental efficiency, including assuming charge duties when required and supporting novice staff through preceptorship Participating in hospital-wide initiatives and the adoption of evidence-based practices Embracing continued professional development through goal setting and participation in educational activities This role is ideal for a dedicated PT who excels in patient-centered care and thrives in dynamic hospital settings.
