Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Sports Medicine Associates of South Forida, PA. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our busy outpatient orthopedic medical office in Plantation. This is a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment dedicated to helping patients return to optimal function and mobility. Responsibilities Assist in implementing treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and orthopedic rehabilitation programs Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT Provide exceptional patient care and encouragement throughout treatment Maintain accurate documentation and treatment notes Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional therapy environment Qualifications Valid Florida PTA license required Experience in orthopedic and exercise-based rehabilitation preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work efficiently in a busy medical office setting Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude We Offer Supportive team environment Established patient base within a busy orthopedic practice Opportunity for growth and long-term employment Competitive compensation based on experience If you are passionate about helping patients improve their quality of life and enjoy working in orthopedics, we would love to hear from you.
