Physical Therapy Assistant - Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm Established in 1904, Moorestown Visiting Nurse Association is a non-profit home care community health organization serving Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester counties in New Jersey. We are currently seeking a Full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to care for home care patients in the Gloucester, Camden or Burlington County areas. The Physical Therapy Assistant provides clinical services to patients with functional limitations that affect their ability to carry out activities of daily living. The Physical Therapy Assistant also provides direct care, support, and education in the home therapy program under the direction of a Physical Therapist and in collaboration with the family, nursing case manager, home health aide, and any other disciplines. Assignments require considerable independence of professional judgment and are carried out in accordance with best practice standards and established policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the agency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy services to patients. Assist with the implementation of treatment plans for patients. Assist in the development of patient care plans and goals. Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques and safety precautions. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans. Provide assistance with activities of daily living.

Education and Experience:
