Job Description

Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role providing essential physical therapy support within an educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who thrives in diverse environments and enjoys collaboration. Working alongside an onsite Physical Therapist, you'll serve students across multiple sites within a 150-mile radius, offering dedicated care to help each student reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with experience in a school environment preferred Comfortable with travel; reliable transportation required for weekly travel up to 150 miles Open to new graduates; preference for candidates with one or more years of PTA experience Strong adaptability, time management, and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the onsite Physical Therapist in implementing individualized plans for students with varied needs Provide direct treatment and therapeutic interventions in accordance with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and daily activities Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals Travel between locations to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery within the district's ESD network This position offers a steady schedule of 40 hours per week, allowing you to focus on building lasting relationships with students and colleagues across the community.
