Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•4:00 PM (flexible based on department needs)

No travel needed Pay starting at $25.00 Overview Clifton-Fine Hospital is seeking a dependable and skilled Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Rehabilitation Services team on a Per Diem basis . This role provides flexibility while supporting patient care needs in our outpatient setting. The PTA works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver treatment, monitor patient progress, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments following the Physical Therapist's Plan of Care (POC) Monitor and report patient progress to the supervising PT Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members Document all treatments and patient interactions in the EMR Enter charges accurately in the EMR system Review medical records to support safe and effective care Participate in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration Maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge and skills Complete required continuing education per New York State guidelines (36 hours every 3 years) Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program (required) Current New York State PTA license/registration (required) Outpatient experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and adapt to varying patient volumes Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work with patients with varying physical and mental health conditions Exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, and infectious materials Ability to lift and assist patients (up to 50 lbs.) Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling Physically and mentally demanding environment Ability to communicate effectively and perform repetitive tasks Why Join Us?
