Physical Therapist - Early Intervention (Essex County, NJ) Flexible Rates | Collaborative Team | Meaningful Pediatric Work About Us Lee's Developmental Services is a trusted and accredited Early Intervention Agency serving children from birth to age three through the New Jersey Early Intervention System (NJEIS) . We are dedicated to empowering families and promoting the optimal development of young children with developmental delays or disabilities. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team. This role involves providing in-home early intervention services to children in Essex County , with additional opportunities available in Passaic, Sussex, Middlesex, and Union Counties . As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate children, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based therapies to support gross motor development, mobility, and overall function. Ideal candidates are strong communicators, team-oriented, and passionate about making a difference during a child's most critical developmental years. What We Offer

  • Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for children ages 0-3
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve mobility, strength, posture, and gross motor skills
  • Provide parent coaching and education on home-based exercises and developmental strategies
  • Collaborate with other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
  • Monitor progress and maintain detailed, compliant documentation per IFSP guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing improvement of service delivery
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and effective therapy environment Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
  • Valid New Jersey Physical Therapy License
  • Minimum 1 year of pediatric or early intervention experience (preferred)
  • Strong communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage a flexible schedule and travel to homes across service areas
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Professional liability insurance and CPR certification (preferred)

From $80.00 per hour
