Key Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state Experience providing therapy in a hospital or acute care setting preferred Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team Up-to-date CPR certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate and assess patients to develop individualized treatment plans that address physical impairments, functional limitations, and mobility goals Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions to aid in patient rehabilitation and recovery Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and safe mobility techniques Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapy staff to ensure cohesive care Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and professional standards
