Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital-based physical therapy setting while collaborating with other healthcare professionals and supporting the rehabilitation needs of a diverse patient population. This contract opportunity requires a proactive physical therapist to ensure exceptional service and uphold core values in all interactions.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position; specific shifts discussed during interview
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid Physical Therapist (PT) license Prior experience in a hospital environment preferred Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Demonstrated knowledge of APTA documentation and standards of care Ability to work collaboratively and foster professional growth among staff Commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical practices
Key Responsibilities:
Uphold a professional image, delivering excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, and co-workers Collaborate with team members on new program development and enhancement of professional skills Administer safe, timely therapy treatments as ordered, engaging staff and families in the process as appropriate Complete thorough medical documentation in compliance with industry and facility guidelines Participate in departmental meetings, ongoing education, and service initiatives Adapt therapy schedules to meet fluctuations in patient caseloads Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe working environment at all times Perform comprehensive evaluations, using specialized tests to assess patients and determine appropriate care plans Create individualized therapy plans aimed at achieving both short- and long-term rehabilitation goals Supervise and collaborate with therapy assistants, setting clear patient goals and monitoring progress Implement evidence-based care and proactively seek research to guide clinical decisions Protect patient privacy and adhere strictly to all operational policies and procedures Take the next step in advancing your career as a physical therapist in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
