Job Description

Category Therapy - Hospital - PT Job Type Contract Physical therapists with a passion for delivering exceptional care are needed for a contract opportunity in a hospital environment, supporting patients in both Acute and Extended Living Center settings. This position will allow you to make a significant impact, serving a broad community in a facility recognized for its dedicated, patient-centered approach.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract position with flexible scheduling options tailored to meet departmental needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active and unencumbered Physical Therapist license Acute care hospital experience preferred Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions for diverse patient populations Strong collaboration and communication skills Capacity to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy to inpatients and ELC residents Document all interventions, progress, and patient/family communications accurately and timely Participate actively in care planning and discharge processes Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding home programs and injury prevention Maintain compliance with facility and regulatory standards Engage in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary team meetings
