QUALIFICATIONS
Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited
Physical Therapy ProgramEducation Preferred:
Master's or Doctor of Physical TherapyExperience Required:
Clinical experience in an inpatient setting
Experience Preferred:
At least three months as an inpatient physical therapist. Previous inpatient exposure as an aide or on clinical affiliation.

JOB FUNCTIONSPerforms and documents an initial examination, evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a working treatment plan prior to implementing interventionsPlans, prepares and carries out individually designed treatment plan to improve or restore function, alleviate pain and enhance patient outcomesReevaluates the effectiveness of treatment on an ongoing basis adjusting treatments to achieve maximum benefitCommunicates with patients and medical practitioners regarding outcomes and expectations during the course of patient careRecords prognosis, treatment, response and progress in electronic medical record and provides referral source with proper updates and discharge reportsCommunicates clearly to physicians, allied health professionals, nursing, and case managers as well as patients and their familiesParticipates in discharge planning and staff meetings​Inpatient Physical Therapy Position
  • This is an inpatient position.
  • Winchester Hospital is a community hospital with 220 beds. Seasoned clinicians and new grads encouraged to apply; mentorship available as needed.

  • Free off-site parking; short 5 minute shuttle ride to the hospital.
  • We have a large orthopedic population
  • 3-4 late shifts per month required to evaluate orthopedic patients (11AM-7:30 PM). Rotating holiday schedule, 2 weekend days required per month with comp day of your choosing.
  • Floating floor coverage, get experience in our 10 bed ICU, medical-surgical floors, day surgery center and emergency department.

Pay Range:
$53.00 - $53.00The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
