$100,000 - $130,000 Annually Position Highlights Full-time permanent position Day shift schedule with rotating call coverage Combination of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services Collaborative interdisciplinary care environment Competitive compensation package Professional development and continuing education opportunities Supportive team culture focused on patient-centered care Job Summary A leading healthcare facility in New Mexico is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to join its rehabilitation services department. This opportunity offers a dynamic mix of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation , allowing therapists to work with diverse patient populations while delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. Key Responsibilities Patient Evaluation & Treatment Planning Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and assessments Develop individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and patient goals Implement evidence-based rehabilitation programs to improve mobility and function Therapeutic Interventions Administer therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance and mobility training, and functional activities Educate patients and families on safety techniques, home exercises, and assistive devices Utilize rehabilitation modalities such as ultrasound, hydrotherapy, traction, massage, and heat therapy as appropriate Documentation & Patient Progress Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on outcomes Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Assist with discharge planning and development of home exercise programs Interdisciplinary Collaboration Work closely with physicians, nurses, case managers, and rehabilitation staff Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings Support and mentor therapy assistants and rehabilitation support personnel Safety & Compliance Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment Adhere to infection control policies and regulatory standards Ensure rehabilitation equipment is properly maintained and functioning safely Qualifications Required Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program Active Physical Therapist license or eligibility in the state of practice CurrentBLS/BCLS
