Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Physical Therapy (PT) licensure in California Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy highly preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families Demonstrated ability to develop and implement individualized treatment and intervention plans
Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services to students, empowering them to overcome physical challenges and access their education Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills and create tailored therapy plans Collaborate with educational teams and participate in IEP meetings to ensure appropriate services and accommodations Maintain detailed records of student progress, therapy sessions, and ongoing needs Provide training and resources to staff and families to support students' continued development Stay current with therapy best practices and school-based requirements This contract-based position spans the full school year, offering you the stability and fulfillment of supporting students from start to finish.
