Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting K-12 students across multiple school sites in an itinerant capacity. This contract-based opportunity runs from July 27, 2026, through May 24, 2027, and involves working onsite throughout the duration, ensuring a dynamic and impactful experience as you travel between locations.
Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapy (PT) license for the state of South Carolina Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Understanding of K-12 student needs and IEP processes Strong organization and time-management skills for an itinerant role Clear communication skills and a collaborative clinical approach Ability to work onsite at multiple school locations
Role Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to K-12 students at various sites in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs) Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with district and regulatory standards Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student access to educational environments Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting interventions as needed Ensure all services meet ethical, legal, and professional guidelines Travel to assigned school sites to deliver services as scheduled This is a fantastic chance to use your PT expertise in schools while making a difference in the lives of children with diverse needs.
