Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students as a dedicated Physical Therapist providing services across multiple educational campuses during the upcoming school year. This full-time contract opportunity allows you to support student growth and mobility while collaborating with a dynamic educational community. You'll lead the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans, helping students reach their fullest potential. As part of this role, you will also supervise a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), offering mentorship and guidance.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Experience working within school environments (preferred but not mandatory) Understanding of pediatric therapy techniques and educational-based PT interventions Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to supervise and support a PTA Dedication to collaboration with educators, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct PT services to students on multiple campuses according to IEPs and student needs Conduct assessments, create goals, and document progress in line with school district requirements Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to embed therapeutic strategies in daily learning Supervise and delegate tasks appropriately to an assigned PTA Participate in IEP meetings and deliver insights on student progress and next steps Adapt and modify therapy plans to address a variety of student abilities and grade levels This position is a full-time, 37.5-hour week, with possible flexibility for fewer hours to fit exceptional candidates' needs, spanning from the start of August 2026 through May 2027.
