Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Physical Therapist and contribute significantly to student well-being at a school near Orland Park, IL. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current license to practice Physical Therapy in Illinois Prior experience in a K-12 school setting strongly preferred Familiarity with school-related documentation, IEP development, and progress tracking Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with students and multidisciplinary teams Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and proactive in a dynamic environment
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing students' physical abilities and collaborating on individualized education plans Delivering targeted physical therapy interventions in group or individual settings Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate, thorough documentation Consulting and coordinating with teachers, staff, and parents to support student goals Promoting safe, accessible learning environments for all students
