Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact through early intervention physical therapy services on a contract basis. This opportunity offers a consistent weekly schedule with a full-time caseload, primarily serving young children and families across Douglas County. Begin as soon as possible and continue through mid-June, 2027, supporting early childhood physical development and collaborating with a team of caring professionals. What we're looking for: Oregon-licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or eligibility to obtain licensure Strong pediatric or early intervention experience preferred Ability to work independently and adapt to various home, community, and early intervention settings Experience or comfort with ECSE consulting (Early Childhood Special Education), with some consultation required Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills Reliable transportation for travel throughout Douglas County What you'll do: Provide direct physical therapy services to infants and young children, primarily in family home environments Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress in partnership with families and early intervention teams Conduct developmental assessments and participate in IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) meetings Offer consultative support to ECSE staff and collaborate with other related service providers in the area Manage caseload documentation, goal-setting, and progress reporting within expected timelines Travel to homes and sites across Roseburg and surrounding areas as needed This contract offers a unique opportunity for a PT who values relationship building, autonomy, and the chance to see real progress in early childhood outcomes.
