In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized physiotherapy treatments that promote mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being. You'll play a key part in helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. Will grow to more hours/shifts. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop tailored care plans that address individual needs across geriatrics, orthopedics, and other specialties. Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy techniques such as trigger point therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to optimize recovery outcomes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless transitions between inpatient, outpatient, and home & community care settings. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to maximize benefits and ensure safety during physiotherapy sessions. Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs to support ongoing recovery. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives by contributing insights on care plans and patient care processes to enhance service delivery. Requirements Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physical Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and physiotherapy techniques applicable to diverse patient populations. Hands-on experience with discharge planning and developing effective care plans for complex cases. Will train on EMR systems for documentation and clinical communication, as well as use of AI to improve efficiency and spend less time on documentation Strong communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams effectively.
