Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA. Active Missouri Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required. 2 years of experience is strongly preferred. Experience in outpatient settings required; experience in acute care and skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings preferred.

Required documentation skills:

assessment, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, short-term and long-term goal setting, and discharge documentation. Experience using common equipment and devices preferred: gait belt, rolling walker, standard walker, crutches, Hoyer lift, sit-to-stand lift, hospital bed, supplemental oxygen, shoulder slings, sliding boards, and prosthetic-related care.

Preferred clinical skills:

body mechanics assessment, pain assessment, strength testing, and vital signs monitoring. Geriatrics and orthopedics patient populations preferred. Previous charge or lead experience preferred. First-time travel clinicians not accepted.
