Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by APTA. Active Oklahoma State Physical Therapy License is required to start the assignment. One year of PT experience is required. New graduates are considered only if they have Level II clinical experience beyond Level I observation. Required experience in long term care or rehabilitation settings. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Ability to perform evaluations, develop and adjust plans of care, document accurately in electronic medical records, and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements. Demonstrated competence with therapeutic interventions common in LTC/rehab, including manual techniques, ambulation training, therapeutic exercise, assistive devices, modality use, and wound care. Ability to supervise and support PT assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students. Ability to participate in required meetings, trainings, and in-services.

Preferred:

prior experience with electronic documentation systems and participation in utilization review or rehab meetings.
