Physical Therapy Aide

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to support our rehabilitation team in delivering outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in healthcare, demonstrate excellent organizational skills, and be eager to learn about physical therapy practices. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will assist licensed therapists with patient treatments, prepare treatment areas, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all patients. Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists with patient setup, including preparing treatment rooms and equipment. Support patients during therapy sessions by providing encouragement and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, equipment, and supplies in accordance with health standards. Help manage appointment schedules and ensure timely patient flow within the clinic or facility. Observe patient responses during therapy sessions and report any concerns or changes to the supervising therapist. Restock supplies and ensure all necessary materials are available for daily treatments. Follow all safety procedures and maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times. Skills Strong interest in healthcare, physical therapy, or related fields with a desire to learn clinical practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, therapists, and team members. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and adhere to safety protocols. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient comfort and care. Basic understanding of anatomy or prior experience in healthcare is a plus but not required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating professionalism and respect for diverse populations. Pay:

$24.03 - $28.94 per hour
