Physician Assistant Adult/Pediatric Emergency Medicine

The Pediatric EM Physician Assistant assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications Education:

Successful completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education.

Licensure & Certifications:

Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant License. Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). AHA Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with computer platforms, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite.
