Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) , Ventura County

Clinica Mi Pueblo Oxnard is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, bilingual (English-Spanish speaking) Practitioner interested in learning and caring for our diverse population of patients, most of whom are uninsured and have limited economic resources or access to medical care. Clinica Mi Pueblo Oxnard is a small, family-owned, fee-for-service outpatient clinic in downtown Oxnard, with a team of caring and qualified professionals offering comprehensive, on-site services at affordable prices, including X-ray, ultrasound, EKG, blood draw, pharmacy, and other procedures and resources. The working environment is supportive, collaborative, and mutually respectful amongst all staff and patients. Workflow is fast paced with high patient volume fluctuating seasonally. 60+ patients are seen daily between two providers. Supervising physician for Physician Assistant is located off-site and available as needed for consultation, which allows for much independence in practice. Electronic medical records are not used , nor do we accept any insurance plan/government funded program, both of which enable efficiency, less emphasis on charting, and a more patient-centered consultation. In your role as a provider, you will see patients of all ages from 6 months and older. You will gain vast experience in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of patient complaints and medical conditions. You will perform procedures as needed including toenail removal, I&D, suturing, x-ray and EKG interpretation, pap smear/pelvic exam, wound culture, and others.

Qualifications:

PA-C Current

BLS, ALS, PALS

preferred 1-2 years experience preferred, but not required, especially in primary care, urgent care, family medicine or emergency medicine New Graduates accepted, will train Fluent in
