Physician Assistant-Certified/Nurse Practitioner Neurology - Part Time Per Diem

Our interdisciplinary staff of 30+, and growing, consist of highly-trained board-certified doctors, nurse practitioners, mental health counselors, patient care technicians, and medical assistants, provides convenient access to high-quality specialty care. We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-trained Nurse Practitioner / PA to join our team in the northern New Jersey area. The successful applicant will join our multidisciplinary team of dedicated treatment specialists to assist with managing patients in either outpatient, inpatient, or our skilled nursing facility team. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who is willing to contribute to the development of patient-centered care. They will have the ability to work collaboratively with the team to provide detailed assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans to patients.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized patient treatment plans based on evidence-based best practice Monitor and evaluate patient conditions through periodic physical examinations Analyze test results, diagnose palliative and/or neurological problems and make appropriate referrals Educate patients and families about pain/palliative, neurological conditions, treatment options and preventive measures Document patient care services in medical records Communicate with other departments to coordinate and provide care Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support for patients Build and cultivate relationships with Skilled Nursing Facility staff members including nursing, admins, physicians, aids, etc.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner / PA Program Must be licensed by the State Board of Nursing (New Jersey) Experience in Neurology a big plus 3+ years

$60,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
