About The Role:

Growing ophthalmology practice looking to add a Physician Assistant. Busy practice. Cohesive staff and strong optometric network. Monday through Thursday and half day Friday. No weekends. Lucrative salary offered, plus bonus and stellar benefits. The PA would be doing complete exams and follow up exams, contact lenses, post op, and some procedures depending on desire and skill levels. The area's mild climate allows its residents to enjoy a wide range of outdoor recreational activities, including youth sports leagues, golfing, hunting, organized sports and biking. Numerous lakes in the area offer fishing, boating, swimming and water sports. A quality public education system provides special programs for the academically gifted at all local schools. A variety of private school options are also available. Three local colleges provide a variety of higher education opportunities. Old Dominion University, Eastern Virginia Medical School, Virginia Commonwealth University, Duke University, Medical College of Virginia and the College of William and Mary are also located within easy driving distance, as are several other public and private four-year institutions. Practice is within driving distance of the popular North Carolina beaches and also the very scenic Appalachian Mountains. Ideal location with easy access to Raleigh, Durham, Charlotte, Richmond, and Washington DC.

Schedule:

Full Time, Monday-Friday no weekends.
