PHYSICIAN
ASSISTANT or
NURSE PRACTITIONER

  • Full-time We are currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who strives to provide exceptional patient care within the specialty of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery (ENT).
The candidate will work in a private practice setting and provide medical care for children and adults. The majority of the time would be spent in an outpatient setting, evaluating and treating patients independently and alongside an ENT physician. We are looking for a team player with a high level of compassion and excellent bedside manner. Currently looking to fill a full-time position which requires 4.5 days in Irving Clinic and half day in Plano Clinic every week.
Job responsibilities:
  • While under the guidance and supervision of the ENT physician, the candidate will learn and perform basic office procedures such as ear examination with microscope, cerumen removal, flexible laryngoscopy, rigid nasal endoscopy, small skin/mucosal biopsies, and nasal packing for epistaxis patients.
  • Perform telemedicine visits and keep up with routine documentation and paperwork.
  • Interpret basic audiological testing and recommend appropriate treatment options including hearing aids.
  • Perform and interpret allergy testing and facilitate proper treatment options including allergy shots.
  • Flexibility to travel to other satellite clinics in within the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex one day per week. The candidate should possess the following:
  • Education:
    Graduate degree in related discipline
  • Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas
  • Bilingual (medical Spanish and/or Chinese proficiency) highly encouraged but not required
  • Experience with Modernizing Medicine (EHR) highly encouraged
