needed for a 30-years established Internal Medicine Practice in Live Oak and Jasper FL. We are looking for full or part time! Salary is negotiable depending on experience (we also give annual bonuses). Please review our job listing and we think you'll find it's quite generous!

Required Qualifications and responsibilities:

Completion of Nurse Practitioner accredited program, Board certified Active State NP License or Active PA License If you have a GA license and would still like to work for us and are interested in getting licensed in FL for this job, please apply. We would assist you with the costs for licensure. We are a 25-30 minute drive from Valdosta, GA or 25-30 min from Lake City, FL. Active State RN license( for NP's) Knowledge of internal medicine, primary care, community resources and cost-effective alternatives regarding patient care delivery systems Knowledge of clinical standards of care Two years of experience working as a ARNP or PA (preferable, but for the right candidate, we can discuss this if you have less) Excellent verbal, written, and behavioral communication skills Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight Basic computer skills (we use Praxis EMR, which you can learn on the job) Patient care plan establishment and evaluation Possesses a mature and justified self-belief in one's ability to do the job and the conveyance of that belief Correctly interprets and follows instructions Reviews results to verify all lab work, diagnostic results and other test results are available and notifies physician as appropriate Consistently documents patient charts so charges can be rendered for services provided to patient He/She may also conduct physical exams, order tests and serve as a patient's primary healthcare provider Functions under the direction of the Medical Director and/or his/her supervising physician as well as the clinic manager for non-clinical functions regarding the daily flow and management of the clinic Responsible for maintaining the health records of patients Performs complete medical history and physical exams on patients establishing differential diagnosis Orders appropriate lab and diagnostic testing/procedures.
