JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board:

Board certified - ABEM/AOBEM or current ABMS-recognized specialty with at least five years continuous full time experience in high volume (>30,000 visits per year) emergency department

Licenses:

Active unrestricted IN Medical License

DEA / CDS

Active IN State Controlled Substance, DEA w/ IN address & schedules 2,2N,3,3N,4

Certifications:

BLS Experience:

New graduates acceptable: EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered. IM w/ five years continuous full time experience in high volume (>30,000 visits per year) emergency department

Other Qualifications:

Flu (within current flu season), TB (past 12 months) or Chest X-Ray with positive TB Vaccinations, COVID, Documentation of case logs for past 2 years, Completed CME Attestation Form

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care in a 33-bed department with 50,000 annual visits. Utilize specialty care rooms for ENT, Orthopedics, GYN, and other trauma cases. Collaborate with NP/PA staff and utilize scribe support for documentation. Maintain enrollment in the Indiana Patient's Compensation Fund (IPCF).
