Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Location :

Near Avondale, Colorado Shift :

24-hour on-call (7 a.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Friday, every other week)

Start Date :

December 6, 2024, with ongoing bi-weekly shifts available through early

April Required Procedures :

General GI procedures, including

ERCP Support Staff :

Backup physician available for concurrent calls at nearby facilities

Key Requirements:

Board Certification :

Required in Gastroenterology or Board-Eligible with recent Internal Medicine certification

Licensure :

Active Colorado medical license and DEA registration required

Experience :

ERCP experience required, with a clean malpractice and background record preferred

Availability :

Must be available for the specified call dates through

April Scheduling and Coverage Dates:

Weekly Call Schedule :

Friday (7 a.m.) - Friday (7 a.m.) bi-weekly, starting December 6, 2024, with multiple coverage dates through

April Future Coverage :

Potential need for coverage beyond April, depending on facility requirements

Patient Load and Facility Information:

Average 15-25 patients per day with 5-8 daily procedures on inpatients; additional consults and transfers expected
