N/A Are you a dedicated General Medicine provider looking for flexible opportunities to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams + Separation Health Assessments? We are currently seeking General Medicine Providers for locum coverage across the country, with positions available nearANTRIM, NH.
Opportunity Details:
Availability:
This position is on a PRN basis, offering flexibility to accommodate various schedules.Specialties Accepted:
We welcome professionals from various backgrounds, including family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with experience in general medicine or compensation and pension exams.Coverage Options:
Choose between traveling to perform exams at a leased facility and/or scheduling appointments within your own practice, providing autonomy and convenience.Shift Options:
Choose between days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) to accommodate your preferences.Exam Details:
Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing. No prescribing or treatment involved.Credentialing:
Benefit from a quick credentialing and onboarding process to expedite your start.DMA Certification:
Certification available with the opportunity to earn CME credits. Obtain certification if not already privileged.Equipment:
Utilize a Goniometer and your own personal laptop (NO MACs) for examinations.Training:
Comprehensive training provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.Reporting:
Submit completed DBQs within 48 hours upon exam completion, emphasizing completion of standardized form(s) rather than narrative reports.Evaluation Process:
Utilize the provider portal for streamlined evaluation processes.Record Review:
Active participation in record reviews required to ensure comprehensive assessment and documentation.Follow-Up Administrative Work:
Regular follow-up administrative tasks including addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics to maintain thorough patient records.Providers Needed:
Join a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, contributing to the collective effort to support Veterans.Certification Requirements:
Board Certified:
