This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert pediatric care in a collaborative environment, ensuring the health and well-being of our young patients. The ideal candidate will bring a strong clinical background, excellent patient service skills, and a passion for pediatric medicine. As a part-time provider, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care across outpatient and inpatient settings, utilizing advanced medical technologies and comprehensive treatment approaches. Duties Conduct thorough pediatric assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions with evidence-based treatments Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for young patients Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic to document clinical encounters accurately Perform specialized procedures including suturing, basic airway management, and immunizations Engage in clinical research initiatives to advance pediatric healthcare practices Provide health coaching and patient education to families on wellness, nutrition, and preventive care Requirements Medical degree from an accredited institution with active Pediatric or Osteopathic (DO) licensure Proven experience in pediatric primary or specialty care, including inpatient and outpatient settings Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for efficient documentation Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, medical terminology, and clinical evaluation techniques Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred Experience with medical imaging interpretation relevant to pediatrics is advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Pay:
