Practice Dynamics:
Inpatient Focus:
This role is exclusively inpatient, providing an immersive experience in the hospital setting. The emphasis on inpatient care ensures a dynamic and challenging environment for neurologists passionate about acute neurological conditions. 7 Days On / 7
Days Off Schedule:
Enjoy a balanced work-life structure with a week-on, week-off schedule. Two physicians are staffed at a time each week, fostering collaboration and team synergy.
Board Certification/Eligibility:
While Vascular or Neuro-critical care board certification or eligibility is preferred, the opportunity is open to all neurologists. The emphasis is on finding a dedicated and skilled professional to contribute to the group.
Replacement Opportunity:
The position arises due to a pending retirement in the summer of 2024, offering the incoming neurologist the chance to step into a well-established practice.
Home Call Responsibilities:
With a manageable 1 in 3 "home call" rotation when on service, the commitment is approximately 5-6 nights per month. This allows for a reasonable balance between work and personal life.
