Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician specializing in Pediatrics to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive medical care to infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their health and well-being through expert diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive environment for patients and their families, promoting healthy growth and development at every stage. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will utilize advanced medical technologies and collaborate across specialties to deliver exceptional pediatric healthcare services. Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of pediatric patients, including newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Diagnose and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions utilizing evidence-based practices and the latest medical innovations. Manage inpatient and outpatient pediatric cases, coordinating care plans that include hospital admissions, outpatient visits, or telehealth consultations. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with specialists in areas like neonatology, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, psychiatry, and other disciplines to provide comprehensive care. Perform procedures including suturing, basic airway management, immunizations, and other minor interventions as needed. Educate patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, medication administration, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term wellness. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical records for quality assurance and legal purposes. Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at advancing pediatric care standards. Support triage processes in emergency or urgent care settings to prioritize patient needs effectively. Qualifications Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with completion of a pediatric residency program. Valid medical license to practice in the designated region or country. Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics from an approved certifying body. Proven experience working with pediatric populations in hospital or clinic settings; experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers is advantageous. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic or similar platforms; familiarity with medical imaging modalities like CT scans is preferred. Strong knowledge of pediatric physiology, growth milestones, immunizations, and disease management protocols. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to perform procedures such as suturing, IV infusion placement, airway management techniques, and basic life support (BLS). Experience with inpatient care environments including neonatal intensive care units (NICU), pediatric critical & intensive care units (PICU), or neonatal ventilator management is highly desirable.
