Duties Help Provide trement services including inpient, consultion liaison services, partial hospitalizion, day programs, emergency psychiric services, tele-psychiric services, routine/intensive outpient services. Develop trement plans and provide approprie therapeutic trement services th may include medicion management, various individual therapy modalities, and group therapy. Monitor trement through evidence-based medicine and alters course of trement providing follow-up care for adult pients with mental health and behavioral disorders. Prescribe approprie pharmacological and psychotherapeutic trement. Collabore with physicians in other medical specialties on cases involving rare, compliced, and multifaceted cases th require advanced trements. Provide professional consultion, supervision, and collaborive medical support to other professional staff such as psychologists, advanced practice nurses, social workers, and other healthcare providers. Serve as member of local Medical Evaluion Boards for assessment and determinion of duty. Conduct training and provides supervision over psychiric residents, interns, medical students, psychology interns, and other medical and mental health trainees. Makes recommendions on improvement of work methods and organizional feures while serving on committees or working groups th review and establish new trement guidelines or updes policy for mental health across the service component. Participe in Quality Assurance (QA) functions, performance improvement programs, risk management programs, and peer review programs. Serve as member of the professional medical staff and provides advisory and consultive services on various local and nional meetings, committees, conferences, and/or boards. This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support training certificion from, or in accordance with, the American Heart Associion and American Red Cross. Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probionary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. This position has been designed "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weher conditions or other such emergency type situions the incumbent is required to report to work or remain work as scheduled to support mission operions. Degree:

Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteophic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United Stes or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Educion of the American Medical Associion; Associion of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Educion; Commission on Osteophic College Accredition of the American Osteophic Associion, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Educion the time the degree was obtained. A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must have provided educion and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United Stes. Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United Stes is demonstred by permanent certificion by the Educional Commission for Foreign Medical Gradues, a fifth phway certifice for Americans who completed premedical educion in the United Stes and gradue educion in a foreign country, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examinion. Gradue Training:

Subsequent to obtaining a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteophic Medicine degree, a candide must have had least one year of supervised experience providing direct service in a clinical setting, i.e., a one-year internship or the first year of a residency program in a hospital or an institution accredited for such training. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualificion requirements listed below:

Residency, Experience, and Training :
