No Description This position offers a rewarding opportunity to serve as an Adult Inpatient (IP) locum, starting on July 1st, with ongoing coverage until a permanent physician is identified and hired. As a Behavioral Health Physician, you'll play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to adult patients, with a focus on managing behavioral health disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
Provide compassionate and evidence-based care to adult patients with behavioral health disorders, addressing their unique needs and promoting recovery.
Patient Load:
Expect to see 10-12 patients per day, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on each individual's journey to mental wellness.
Suboxone Treatment:
Experience with Suboxone treatment is a plus, offering additional support to patients with opioid use disorder.
Schedule:
Work Monday through Friday, with a total of 40 hours per week, providing consistent and reliable coverage to meet patient needs.
No Call:
Enjoy a work-life balance with no on-call responsibilities, allowing you to focus solely on patient care during scheduled hours.
Licensing:
Hold an active Connecticut medical license, ensuring compliance with state regulations and requirements.
Additional Requirements:
Vaccination:
Must have up-to-date flu and
COVID-19
vaccinations to ensure the safety of patients and staff. No Advanced Practice Providers (APPs): This opportunity is exclusively for physicians, offering autonomy and independence in patient care delivery.
