Pick and Packer/ Stock Room Associate

We are a small wholesaler in the apparel industry in Downtown, LA and we are seeking a pick and packer individual to be responsible for the following tasks but not limited to these tasks:

• Unloading of pallets in doc and lifting/moving of heavy boxes in to the stock room
• Pick and pack from picking slips with accuracy for wholesale and drop ship orders

• ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS A MUST

• Measure and weigh all boxes and prepare for shipment
• Receive the imported inventory in to the warehouse accurately
• Place merchandise in designated shelves, racks or other areas
• Manage inventory/stock
• Hang and pack multi brand samples and distribute to different showroom locations
• Maintaining a clean and orderly working area All the above will be maintained from a 3000 sq ft stock room.

THIS IS NOT A

WAREHOUSE and there is no fork lifting etc. needed nor are we interested in anyone with fork lifting experience.

Requirements for the position:

• MUST have 2 years pick and pack experience

IN THE WHOLESALE FASHION INDUSTRY

• Extremely detail oriented and organized
• Go above the call of duty
• Pick and Pack experience with hundreds of SKUs
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently
• Remain calm and collected under pressure
• Flexible and available to work outside of normal business hours/overtime including a weekend
• Committed to the task at hand and be reliable
• Experience with inventory management
• Good English communication and written skills
• Must have positive and friendly attitude
• Must have high school diploma

$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 33
