Pilates Instructor

Experienced Pilates Instructor needed for our newest studio in South Miami, opening Summer 2026. The studio will offer group classes and private sessions using the Merrithew Reformer/Tower V2-Max and Stability Chair. At Natural Pilates, we use an athletic, form-focused, and mechanical approach to movement. In our high-energy group classes, our main goal is to help clients build kinesthetic awareness by targeting and activating muscle groups until they reach fatigue. We focus on one area and work a particular muscle group in several planes of motion, so that clients really engage and feel the muscles working and continue getting stronger. Natural Pilates was founded in 2005 by Master Trainer, Laura Wilson. We currently have studios in the Los Angeles area (Beverly Hills, Brentwood, West Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Manhattan Beach) and New York City (Soho, Upper East Side, Upper West Side, and Flatiron). In addition to our brick-and-mortar studios, Natural Pilates also has an on-demand workout platform (NPTV), a comprehensive teacher training program, and accredited continuing education workshops for Nationally Certified Pilates Instructors.

Applicant Requirements:

Minimum Reformer certification (full Comprehensive Pilates certification on all apparatus preferred) Minimum 2 years teaching experience (private and group classes preferred) Must present well and have a professional, amiable attitude toward clients and co-workers Willingness to learn and adapt to the Natural Pilates signature style Ability to connect with clients and remember their names Ability to provide helpful verbal and hands-on cueing to clients Ability to regress and progress exercises for different levels in a group class Ability to accept constructive criticism and incorporate feedback from clients and Instructor Lead Experience with Merrithew equipment a plus

Job Responsibilities:

Check Walla the evening before your shift to confirm schedule and ensure you have notes for any new clients Be on time to your class or session Enforce studio rules for client safety Set room and equipment back to "home," ensuring all equipment and props are re-set/stowed correctly after class Check Slack app during your shift and respond as necessary Respond to emails from Front Desk regarding client session notes Teach a combination of private sessions and group classes. Substitute for classes and privates as needed, based on availability and business needs There will be filming opportunities to create content for NPTV. If you are interested, please reach out to your Instructor Lead, and they will coordinate. Filming will take place on weekdays during the break between morning and evening group classes.
